Renate Ussery: Domestic Architect

It's pronounced: Ren-ah-tah You-Sir-ee

I call myself a domestic Architect, what it really is, is a life manager. Not just for myself, but for those dependent on me. It's a fancy word for "Mom." but what more important job IS there?

A domestic architect plans, designs, and oversees the construction of lives. To practice means to provide services and make decisions that affect public and private safety of those in their care, and thus practicians must undergo specialized training and advanced education via practicum (or internship) through practical experience independently of supervision.

This profession comes with training in many additionally necessary skill sets, including but not limited to: Multitasking, Finance Management, Resource Allocation, and practical preliminary training in multiple other professions and skill sets.

That's how I spent the last 10 years; As a special needs care advocate and service coordinator (including PT/OT therapy techniques, medication management, Team coordination, family advocacy) for three beautiful children. I also opened and run an animal rescue shelter to save and re-home abandoned, rescued, and surrendered cats. I get them all fixed up and ready, then find them a new forever home. I'm proud to say I have never had a cat returned - I make sure to get it right the first time.

I also like to design websites, read, write, draw, and travel.

But it's time now for a new adventure and personal growth. I'm really looking forward to using all the skills I've learned throughout my employ and personal history to facilitate a new and exciting career and become part of a great team. I look forward to personal and professional growth, learning new things, and being a valuable addition to a new company.

I love to learn, and I love to help people. I'm looking for a career and a company that will allow me to do both while I have the opportunity to contribute to the company's health and growth. I'm motivated, I learn fast, and I can wear as many hats as you hand me.

I'm your girl.

Contact me, and let's get started!
